After much deliberation we have made a final cut on the players who turned out in the recent trial match against Boston Utd FC. We would like to thank everyone for their efforts and the decision was extremely tough. So much so that we have increased our final squad by 2 or 3 more than we have previously. The standard has been very high and the boys who have made it should be very proud of getting into this squad. We hope to guarantee everyone in the pool of 23 some county football this season as we will have some 10 or so games – depending on how far we get in the knock out cup!
The next trial match for the U16 Boys Lincolnshire Representative team is now on Thursday 24th September. Players are to arrive at the ground at 6.15 for a 7.15-7.30 KO.
Address is: Wyberton Colts Football Club, The Causeway, Saundergate Lane, Wyberton, Boston, Lincolnshire, PE21 7BS.

A narrow defeat to Norfolk last night, losing 1-0 with 7 minutes left on the clock. Deserved more out of the game as we dominated the first half. Our keeper had very little to do. Disappointed- but we pick ourselves up for our next scheduled game vs. Leicestershire on 18th November (away).
Our first competitive match of the 2014 campaign is on Wednesday 15th October against Norfolk at Dereham Town' ground 7.30pm Kick off. Please check squad for this match.
After much thought i have decided to select a pool of some 22 players of which we would like to try and choose a squad of 16/17 for each of our matches this season. We would like to thank everyone who attended trials and for those of you who were not successful a reminder that you were amongst the best players the county has to offer at this age group. We wish you all a long and successful season.
